Stephen Walter Martucci, 59 of Vineland, NJ died at home on Tuesday, surrounded by his loving family, after an extended illness. Born in Vineland and raised in Buena Acres, Steve and his family moved to Vineland in 1975. He was a graduate of Vineland High School, Class of 1977.
Stephen was a car enthusiast, and worked as a parts clerk and manager for various auto dealers in the area. His last place of employment was FC Kerbeck and Sons, in Palmyra, NJ where he continued to work the parts counter from 2007 until present. He loved automobiles and was a founding member of the South Jersey Trans Am Club and former President. Over the years Stephen enjoyed driving the many various cars he owned.
He is survived by: brother, Louis L. Martucci (Sharon); sisters, Alessandra Capella and Teresa Giordano (Lou); nieces, Wendy Huston (Bill), Heather Edginton (Bob) and Kelly Sobon (Rob); nephews, Robert Jones, Christian Martucci (Elizabeth). He was pre-deceased by his parents, Louis A. Martucci and Eunice V. (Johnston) Martucci.
Family and friends will be gathering on Thursday, December 27th, to celebrate the life of Stephen starting at 6:30pm until 7:30pm in the Rocap Shannon Memorial Funeral Home of Millville. A Memorial Service will be held at 7:30pm. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial contributions be made to: National Foundation for Cancer Research, 5515 Security Lane #1105, Rockville, MD 20842; or National Kidney Foundation, 1500 Walnut St. #301, Philadelphia, PA 19102.
