Jacqueline Selfridge Lockner, 64 of Millville died on Sunday at home, surrounded by her loving family.  She was born in Millville and lived in Millville for most of her life.

 

A graduate of Millville Senior High School Class of 1968, Jacqueline matriculated to Clemson University and obtained a Bachelor’s Degree.  After graduation she worked for the Cumberland County Board of Social Services, as a Social Worker and then as a Supervisor of Information Systems.  Jacqui retired from the Cumberland County Board of Social Services after 25 years of service.

 

Jacqueline loved to ski and traveled internationally, skiing in some of the most beautiful places in the world.  She was generous to a fault. She was an animal lover and especially loved her cat, Simba.  She also enjoyed reading, music and going to the beach. Jacqueline’s greatest love was for her family and family gatherings were her greatest joy.

 

She is survived by:  Fiancé, Gregory Johnson of Millville;  mother, Shirley Selfridge of Millville;  sisters, Cindy  and Edward Hogan of Millville, Sharleen and Robert Johnson of Millville; nieces, Kimberley Ale (David), Robin Dick (Kevin), Jessica Pacana (John), Sharleen Saroka (Chris);  nephew, Benjamin Hogan (Alyssa).  3 great nieces and 4 great nephews.

 

Services will be held on Thursday at the Christ Episcopal Church of Millville at 10am.  A viewing will be held on Wednesday night at the Rocap Shannon Memorial Funeral Home from 6pm until 8pm.  Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family.  Memorial contributions can be made to:  Christ Episcopal Church, PO Box 357, Millville, NJ 08332 and written condolences can be sent to:  rocapshannon@aol.com or visit our web site at www.rocapshannon.com.
