Eupha M. Montana (nee Kaneday), 88, of Rosenhayn died Monday afternoon January 26, 2015 at Inspira Medical Center in Vineland.

The wife of Peter Montana, she and her husband were married on August 14, 1945 and would have celebrated their 70th anniversary this summer.

Mrs. Montana was born in Brouland, WV and was the daughter of the late John Nicholas and Eupha (nee Dangerfield) Kaneday. She moved at a young age to southern New Jersey to work at the former Owens-Illinois Glass Company. After working briefly, she spent her life devoted to her family as a homemaker.

She was a member of The Parish of the Holy Cross / St. Mary’s RC Church in Rosenhayn. She enjoyed gardening and working with ceramics.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by three children, John N. Montana (Paula) of Rosenhayn, Roselinda “Linda” Terrigno (Cosmo A.) of Upper Deerfield and Ronnie Montana (Theresa “Terri”) of Rosenhayn, five grandchildren, Jennifer, Michael (Melissa), Lisa (Grant), John Nicholas, Jr. (Lucie) and Matthew (Dana), four great grandchildren, Dante, Peter, Abigail and Tobin and one sister, Edith Wolford. She was preceded in death by two sisters, Juanita and Mary and a brother, John.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Liturgy at The Parish of the Holy Cross / St. Mary’s RC Church, Morton Avenue, Rosenhayn on Friday morning January 30th at 11 o’clock where friends will be received from 10 until 11.

The burial will follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery in Rosenhayn.
