Carmen Delia (Cardona) Pomales

11/5/1949-12/11/2018 – If God is with me, who can be against me?” is something my mother Carmen Pomales always said. She was a warrior, not just for herself but for the people she loved and for total strangers in need. She lived a life of service in different facets such as loving and caring daughter, hard working mother and wife, servant of God, and dedicated social worker to aid the local communities. Down to her very last breath, she served in her capacity to let us know that all would be well despite her departure, touching our hearts to unite as one in her final moments. Always serving, always loving, and that is the way I will always remember my mom.

She is survived by two children, myself Tania Pomales and Armando Medina; husband, Luis Pomales; mother, Jovita Gonzalez; step-children, Betsy, Luis, and Daniel Pomales; siblings, Ata, Mañeco, and Wilfredo, and lots of loving family in Puerto Rico and the U.S.
