Relatives & friends will be received on Thursday November 15th from 9:30 to 11:00 AM at the Our Lady of the Blessed Sacrament Parish-Church of St. Rose, 104 Catawba Ave., Newfield, NJ where his funeral liturgy will be celebrated at 11 AM . Burial will follow in the Rose Hill Cemetery, Newfield. No flowers please. Donations in Fred's honor may be made to the Northeast Catholic Alumni Assoc., Inc., P.O. Alfred A. “Fred” Reeb

Newfield – Alfred A. “Fred” Reeb, 70, of Newfield, NJ passed away peacefully at home early Friday evening November 9, 2018 after a long and courageous battle with hemochromatosis and liver cancer surrounded by his loving family who were with him every step of the way. Fred was born & raised in Philadelphia and has resided in Newfield for 43 yrs. He was the son of the late Regina V. (Whelan) & Alfred J. Reeb.

Before retiring, Fred was employed a Master Plumber with Union Plumbers Local #690, Philadelphia of which he was a member for 52 yrs. Fred was a graduate of Northeast Catholic High School for Boys, Class of 1966 and Ascension Grade School.

Over the years Fred was involved with the Cub & Boy Scouts of America (Eagle Scout), Kiwanis, Edgarton Memorial P.T.A., Newfield Vol. Fire Co., Newfield Zoning Baord, President & Vice President of the Democratic Club of Newfield, Newfield J.C.’s, Mayo Association of Philadelphia, Commodore John Barry Club Irish Center of Philadelphia, Reeb Families Association, Sicilian American Club of S.J., Member of the Master Plumbers Assoc of N.J. & Philadelphia, Newfield Ambulance Corps & the Rose Hill Cemetery Association, Newfield. Fred enjoyed traveling to Kiltmagh, County of Mayo and Europe, working in his yard, spending time with his children & grandchildren and attending their games taking many photographs. Celebrating his Irish Heritage, volunteering and helping others.

Fred is survived and sadly missed by his wife of 50 yrs; Anne Marie “Nancy” (Mazzeo). Children; Anne Marie Alvino (Dean), Alfred J. Reeb, Bridget M. Airey (Michael), Allison L. & Charles M. Reeb. Extended family Eddie Cruz (Kathy), Grandchildren; Leigh Anne Erickson (Tim), Deanna Rodriquez (Aaron), Jessica J. Seidel (Dylan), Michael A. Airey, Jr. & Meagan Rose Airey.

Great Grandchild; Madison Rose Erickson, Brother; James J. Grasso (Peggy), Nieces & Nephews; Debra Croissette (Rick), Jeannie Perry, Michael Grasso (Dawn), Anthony Bongiorno, Joseph Grasso (Heather), Special cousins; Mary Zubry & Bernadette Johns, many more cousins, family & friends. Especially best friends Bob Twist & Johnny Michaels.

He was predeceased by his nephew; James J. Grasso, Jr. & foster daughter Vicki Seidel. We are thankful for all the lovely people from Bayada Hospice especially Tasha. Also, all the wonderful many doctors & nurses who took care of Fred at Cooper, Elmer & Vineland Inspira, Our Lady of Lourdes and Thomas Jefferson University Hospitals.
